History:
R.R. Flowmeters Pvt. Ltd. is founded in the year 1997 by Y.N. Reddy. It started in a humble way, with marketing Rotameters. The response was good and the clientele list grew fourfold. And the Customer list soon included the Major Industries. As the back up from the Manufacturers could not cope up with the demand and as Supplies became a problem, RRF took up manufacturing and servicing in the year 2000. Today RRF manufactures Rotameters, P.D. Meters, Turbine Meters, Electro Magnetic Flowmeters, Thermal Mass Flowmeters / Controllers, Paddle Wheel Meters, Custody Transfer Meters, Fuel Consumption Meters, Water Meters and Flow Computers. Apart from our own manufacturing range of Flowmeters we also represent some of the World's reputed Firms for various types of Flowmeters to make the range complete. Areas of leadership include Fuel Consumption Monitoring, Remote Water Distribution Management, Measurement of Partial flows and Custody Transfer by Gravity. We are proud to have the Oil Conversion Factors. And we are one of the very few to have all the three (Water, Air and Oil) Calibration Set-ups. Started on a small basement workspace, today we are at the verge of shifting our work place to newly acquired 2,500 square yards premises.

Our goal is to maintain and make available full range of quality flow measurement products, very appropriate to the requirement, at reasonable price to the Indian Industry. Hence we are manufacturing or marketing different types of flowmeters, according to the feasibility. We not just offer the Standard Flowmeters, but also design flowmeters so as to suite the customer requirements and applications very appropriately, saving the customer from unnecessary expenditure. The Customer job is to only give the Data of his requirements and rest all is our job, from designing to commissioning. We are determined to offer Flow Computers for the price of a Totaliser and Ultrasonic Flowmeter at the price of an Electro Magnetic Flowmeter. We have almost achieved the second target. Our motto is to benefit the customer, to the maximum possible, by avoiding overheads and offering the right product. Hence our main thrust is on Research & Development and sourcing new and simple solutions Worldwide. We not just sell the products but we also provide solutions to the complicated problems of the clients. While our business has grown over the years, our focus of satisfying the customer has remained the same. Achievements:

• We are the first in India to design, develope and promote battery backed (5 years back up, without any recharge) Insertion type Paddle Wheel Flowmeter (which does not cause any pressure drop, easy installation and which has minimum maintenance). (For Sri Satya Sai Baba Rural Water Supply Board, maintained by L & T).
• We have Mass Computing unit for Steam application.
• We are the first in India to have Axial Helix type water meters for irrigation applications, which can sustain grass and other suspended particles.
• For the first time in India, we introduced GSM based SCADA, which can give information on Cellular Phones.
• Also for the first time in India we have developed a system to measure partial flows in pipelines.
• And for the first time in India we have flowmeters, which can accurately measure flowrates on Bends, Elbows, and where the minimum straight lengths are not available, particularly in Industrial Applications.
• We also have the credit of providing solution for Custody Transfer by gravity, with our specially designed Turbine Flowmeter.
• We also introduced P.D. Meters with Reciprocating Piston for Custody Transfer with an assured accuracy of 0.1%.
• And our greatest achievement in the field of Fuel Flow Measurement is; we made the very complicated Fuel Consumption Monitoring system, where two flowmeters are used (second one to measure the back flow from Engine), very simple and Cost effective. In our system only one flowmeter is required.
